K-2nd grades $65 Late Signup (after October 24th) $75

3rd-6th grades $90 Late Signup (after October 24th) $100

The Niwot Youth Sports Recreation Basketball Program offers local area youth (ages kindergarten - 6th grade) an opportunity to learn the game of basketball in a fun and positive environment that promotes principals of good sportsmanship, team work, and respect.

League Information:

We offer the following leagues for boys and girls:

Kindergarten - 2nd Grade Skills Program:

This level offers a general introduction to the game of basketball for our youngest players.

• Coed
• Kindergarten and 1st Grade combined (coed)
• 2nd Grade (coed)
• Games played on an 8' basket
• Size ball - 26 in.
• Practices
• Each team will practice one weekday a week at one of the local area elementary schools
• Practices start: beginning of December
• Games
• Sunday afternoons at Niwot High School
• Games start: January (after Winter Break)
• Season ends: beginning of March

Boys and Girls 3rd Grade - 6th Grade:

Niwot Youth Sports partners with the City of Longmont Recreation Services to coordinate game play with local area teams including Niwot, Longmont, Lyons, Mead and Carbon Valley.

• Boys (teams divided by grade)
• 3rd grade
• 4th grade
• 5th grade
• 6th grade
• Girls (teams divided by grade)
• 3rd grade
• 4th grade
• 5th grade
• 6th grade
• League follows Colorado High School Rules with a few exceptions implemented for fair play
• Practices
• Each team will practice at least one weekday evening at a local area elementary school
• Practices start: beginning of December
• Games
• Saturdays at Longmont Rec Center and/or local area middle schools
• Games start: January (after Winter Break)
• Season ends: beginning of March
