Niwot Youth Sports has many volunteer positions, from just an hour of manual labor doing field maintenance, to working directly on the Board of Directors year-round. Current Positions
Board Member:
NYS has an open Board meeting every year for elections. We always have openings and would welcome new volunteers to join the Board of Directors. Our goal is to make this an enjoyable experience for kids and parents alike. In order for this to happen we need reliable and responsible people making decisions that can make this happen.
League Commissioners:
Help to organize teams and coaches prior to the season.
Field Maintenance:
Many opportunities are available including mowing grass, painting dugouts, raking leaves, and many more.
Coaching:
We are always in need of head coaches and assistant coaches. Training is available.
Coach’s Helper:
Helps at practices, helps in the dugout during games, or even helps coach bases when needed.
Team Parent:
Might involve making snack schedules, organizing a phone chain for rainouts, or even helping in the planning of the end of season party.
Opening Day Helper:
Opening day will be May 15th this year. We always need volunteers to help set up or work a station for an hour or two.
