The Niwot Youth Sports NFL Flag Football League is where boys and girls learn to play and love the game of football. Players learn the fundamentals of the game, develop football skills and improve their overall athleticism. NYS coaches teach good sportsmanship, teamwork, and how to compete in a healthy competitive way. Teams are formed by a draft. Players are required to attend one of our preseason camps. During the camps, the players receive coaching and are evaluated on various skill sets. At the end of camp, awards are given. NYS coaches are then equipped with information about players to help create a competitive and balanced league.

This is a Niwot and surrounding communities flag football league. NYS follows the NFL Flag Football Rules for 5v5 with a few of our own rule modifications.
