We are excited to announce the return of Niwot Youth Sports basketball for 2023! 

This year, we have continued our partnership with Rocky Mountain Youth Basketball and Carbon Valley Recreation Center to offer competitive and recreational basketball programs. Our three organizations together will focus on growing our student athletes as players and leaders in our community. This partnership will also allow us to expand the number of teams providing a more exciting and competitive level of play for all players.  

Girls / Boys Basketball Program Details

• Grades 1st – 6th

• Season will run from January – March; practices and games will begin in January
• We will offer a competitive and recreational program – all skill levels are welcome!
• A majority of the games will be played in the Longmont and Niwot areas. However, on occasion a game might be scheduled in Firestone and/or Frederick.
• Coach and friend request will be considered when building teams. Please note, the request is just that – a request – and does not guarantee placement with the coach of player requested.
• Registration fee is $145

For this season, all players will be required to go through a brief skills evaluation so we can ensure our teams are well balanced. Evaluations will take place in November / December and details will be communicated soon.

Also, while we are continuing to evaluate options for our Pre-K/Kindergarten and 7th/8th grade basketball programs, these may not be available this year. More information will follow if we can support programs for these age groups.
